Gary Davis's research interests include causal inference and impact assessment in traffic safety, applying accident investigation and reconstruction methods to traffic engineering questions, and applying optimization methods to traffic engineering and transportation planning problems.
Transportation research at the University of Minnesota covers the spectrum from basic to applied research, drawing on the many transportation-related disciplines within the University. The Center actively supports the formation of multidisciplinary research teams.
