In‑person

11 E Kellogg Blvd
Saint Paul, MN 55101

About the Event

The Reconnecting Communities Summit calls for a national restorative movement to advance policy and investment in revitalizing communities decimated by transportation policy.

At this second annual event, community members, practitioners, and policy leaders from across the country will gather, share, learn, and create a community of practice to overcome the negative effects of the Federal Highway Act of 1956.

The event is hosted by ReConnect Rondo and sponsored by the AASHTO Center of Environmental Excellence in partnership with COMTO.

Call for Abstracts

ReConnect Rondo is currently calling for abstracts for the 2024 summit. Proposers must submit their abstract along with a brief biography by July 31, 2024, to be considered.

In collaboration with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Transportation Studies, ReConnect Rondo will be reviewing and selecting abstracts for the summit. Submitters will be informed by August 9, 2024, whether or not their abstract has been accepted.

Abstracts should include title, study subject, and research object(s); methodology or approach; findings or results; and any potential applications and/or policy implications. If more than one presenter is anticipated, please list all participating speakers on the abstract form.
