CTS affirms our commitment to working with our broader network of stakeholders to address the historic and contemporary inequities built into our existing transportation system. We know the current system does not equitably serve all Minnesotans. We also know that the negative impacts of infrastructure development have not been shared equitably—often being absorbed by people with lower incomes, Black and brown residents, Indigenous people, and people with disabilities. We strive each day to help communities, policymakers, and practitioners pursue transportation investments and policies that redress existing inequities and build a transportation system that offers opportunities and access to all.
